Anti-money Laundering
Legal basis and scope
Ffbet operates an Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) program in accordance with applicable AML/CFT statutes. The objective of the program is to detect and deter money laundering and the financing of terrorism and to preserve confidence in the integrity of the financial system. By opening an account with Ffbet, a customer agrees to comply with all applicable anti-money laundering laws and to provide information necessary to verify identity and assess risk as required by the AML program.
Governance and risk-based approach
Ffbet maintains an internal AML Program that is based on a formal risk assessment of each customer. The program comprises customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD) for higher risk profiles, ongoing monitoring of transactions, and periodic reviews of information. The program is supplemented by control measures, clear escalation paths for suspicious activity, and staff training designed to ensure ongoing compliance with AML obligations.
Onboarding and customer information
On registration, Ffbet collects identifying information to determine the customer’s risk level and to comply with AML laws. The customer must provide accurate information and promptly update any information that affects risk assessment or verification. The customer acknowledges that information provided will be used to comply with anti-money laundering requirements and that Ffbet may request additional information to verify identity and assess risk.
Identity verification (KYC) and documentation
- Identity documents: A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, driver’s license, or national ID) must be provided. The copy should include the front and back of the document. In the absence of a photo ID, a birth certificate may be accepted, provided a clear photograph of the holder with the birth certificate is supplied.
- Proof of address: A utility bill or bank statement showing the customer’s name and current residential address, issued within the last three months, must be supplied.
Documentation submission occurs via the customer’s account, under the documents section. All documents are reviewed by Ffbet in accordance with the applicable verification timelines and internal policy.
Proof of payment methods
- Card payments: Copies of the debit/credit card used for deposits showing the cardholder’s name, and the first six and last four digits. The security code must be obscured; the cardholder’s signature must be visible.
- eWallets: A screenshot of the eWallet account showing the registered email address and account identifier.
- Bank statements: A bank statement from the customer’s bank account covering the deposit period, showing bank name, account number/IBAN, and BIC code, with all four corners visible.
- Cryptocurrencies: Screenshots of the transaction and the wallet profile showing the user’s email, user ID and associated account information.
- Pre-paid vouchers: Verification for pre-paid vouchers is not automatic and may be subject to denial where appropriate.
The required documents reflect the deposit method used and may be updated as payment methods evolve. Documentation is submitted from the account’s Documents tab and reviewed in accordance with internal timelines.
Ongoing monitoring and risk-based due diligence
Ffbet conducts ongoing monitoring of all customer activity. Transactions are reviewed against the customer’s risk profile and historical behavior. Where activity is inconsistent with risk assessment or policy thresholds, the customer may be subject to enhanced due diligence, additional verification, or temporary restriction of activity. Suspicious activity is escalated to the AML/compliance function for investigation and reporting where required by law.
Timed verification and withdrawal considerations
Initial and ongoing verification are performed in line with the risk level posed by the customer. If a withdrawal request is submitted and related documents are required, customers must provide the requested documentation within 48 hours. Internal reviews of verification materials are completed within three business days unless a longer period is justified by risk assessment.
Customer Cooperation and accuracy
Customers must promptly provide information and documentation reasonably requested by Ffbet to comply with AML laws. Information and documents must be accurate, current, and complete. Failure to provide requested information may result in restricted access, suspension, or termination of the account consistent with applicable laws and internal policies.
Prohibited activity and age restriction
Underage gambling is prohibited. Ffbet prohibits account activity by individuals who are under 18 years of age. Where age verification indicates the customer is under 18, the account will be blocked and all activity suspended in accordance with regulatory and internal policy.
Data protection and privacy
Personal data collected in the course of AML screening is processed in accordance with Ffbet’s Privacy Policy. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and retained solely for AML compliance, auditing, and regulatory reporting purposes as required by law.
Rights and remedies
Ffbet reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate a customer’s account if AML/CTF concerns arise, or if documentation is incomplete or deemed insufficient to satisfy verification and risk assessment requirements. The operator will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy any identified deficiency where required by applicable laws.
Contact and escalation
Any questions about the AML program or requests related to verification and due diligence should be directed to Ffbet’s support and compliance channels as published in the customer service section of the platform. All communications will be treated in confidence and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
